TThe 80's was the aftermath of the 70's when NY was run down. The 80's was also run down but on the mend. The neighborhoods were vibrant and had a lot of character & characters. Anyone that is old enough to have lived it has fond memories. While other photographers were documenting the darker side of New York, the dirty streets, graffiti and the crime, the homeless and decaying infrastructure, I was photographing the interesting things, the the endless array of characters, performers and the colorful street scene. We've got 100 photos that no one has seen until now.
